Welcome to 2016, a year that is starting with enthusiasm and growth for TLCAD. The POOCH program at the Richard J Donovan Correctional Facility is expanding! What first started with three dogs in the firehouse has now been moved into designated areas inside the facility that will allow TLCAD to train more dogs in less time.
This holiday season, we are grateful for the opportunity to share stories of transformation, of lives saved and changed for the better. Of one dog and his journey from life behind bars to a life that provides the gift of freedom and another, who was given a second chance to brighten the lives of children everyday!
To those who make transformation possible…
This Thanksgiving we are grateful for our wonderful service dog teams-in-training, and for our dedicated volunteers and supporters, who make independence possible!
